Courses & units with an Indigenous focus
Woiwurrung language, the language of the Wurundjeri people, is used to name Indigenous programs at Victoria University.
Permission has been given to Moondani Balluk by Elders, to retell Kulin creation stories and to perform ceremonies on University land.
We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to apply for any of our courses, and we support them during their studies.

Moondani Balluk offer support services and information, including information on how to apply and financial assistance.
Volunteering
Students can participate in many volunteering and community activities during their time at VU.
Moondani Balluk co-delivers the Seeds to Success program, in which students learn about native plants and assist with the restoration of the native grasslands in the Cairnlea area. Seeds to Success happens at the Iramoo Native Plant Nursery at VU's St Albans Campus and is a VU Extra activity.
