Overview

Build your leadership skills for management and supervisory roles with the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management at Victoria University.

You will develop the communication skills and leadership strategies to develop and lead diverse teams, build business networks and implement operational plans. This course will equip you with leadership skills necessary to work in wide range of organisations and industry sectors.

On completion, you will know how to:

coordinate business resources
promote innovation in a team environment
lead effective workplace relationships
apply communication strategies in the workplace
implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs.

Upon successful completion of this course you may be able to pursue the following jobs:

: This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Course structure

To be awarded the BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, 12 units must be completed consisting of:

5 core units
7 elective units, of which:

* 4 elective units must be selected from Group A * for the remaining 3 elective units: - up to 3 units may be selected from Groups A and B - if not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from Certificate IV or above or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.
