Improve your English and gain practical skills for work, with Certificate III in EAL (Employment) 22643VIC at Victoria University.

This course is designed for people learning English as an additional language. It will help you to develop English-language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to communicate effectively in the workplace.

In this English-for-work course, you will develop strategies for learning and skills to:

  • engage in conversations in the workplace
  • read and write straightforward information for employment
  • build good workplace relationships
  • use numerical information for work
  • organise and complete a practical placement.

Course Structure

To be awarded the 22643VIC Certificate III in EAL (Employment), a total of eight (8) units must be achieved, consisting of: 3 core units and 5 electives which can be selected from units not previously completed from the following:- elective units listed in this qualification
- Certificate II, III and/or IV qualifications in this EAL Framework
- units/modules which are first packaged in AQF levels 2, 3 and/or 4 in other accredited courses and/or endorsed training packages.
