Learn skills that complement your passion for sport and coaching, with the Undergraduate Certificate in Secondary Physical Education from Victoria University.

This course gives you a recognised qualification within six months – providing a fast track towards a new career.  

You’ll graduate with a strong understanding of physical activities and concepts needed to develop movement skills in others, particularly PE for secondary-school students. 

Learn how to deliver training or facilitate sport participation in:  

  • athletics  
  • swimming and water safety 
  • games  
  • sports 
  • rhythmic and expressive movement. 

The Undergraduate Certificate in Secondary Physical Education qualification is an ideal course if you've completed a bachelor qualification in Sport and Exercise Science and are looking to further develop your knowledge and skills in Physical Education. It contributes to prerequisites for entry into a Master of Teaching, depending on your previously completed units (talk to us to learn more).

If you decide to keep studying, you may progress to the Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport Science, or bachelor-level qualifications in education
