Credit for skills & past study

Credit for equivalent study, work, or life experience can reduce the number of units you need to complete for your qualification, saving you time and money.

You can apply for credit towards a TAFE or university program during your course application or after you're accepted to study, during enrolment. You may receive credit transfer for completed study, or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for work experience and informal learning.

Current students can also apply for credit during enrolment each year, if they have learning or work experience equivalent to upcoming units.

Credit for units completed at VU is automatically granted.
