A new Enterprise Agreement

As you may be aware, VU is in the middle of negotiating a new Enterprise Agreement with employee representatives, including the National Tertiary Education Union. We’ve been negotiating over the past year. A lot of work has been done and we’re close to finalising an agreement. This means that we will be able to provide better pay, benefits and conditions for our staff this year.

Negotiations of this nature can sometimes involve industrial action, such as teachers stopping work, and other disruptions. This might mean some impact on your classes, but we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that your studies aren’t affected.

We will keep you informed on progress of these negotiations and hope to provide good news to our staff and students soon.

Please keep an eye on this page if you would like to be informed on the progress of these negotiations.
