Welcome (or welcome back) to Victoria University!

New students, find out what you need to do to accept your offer and enrol at VU.

Returning students, make sure you re-enrol on time so that you can continue your studies.

How to accept your offer

New students: Congratulations on your offer! Your next step is to accept your offer and enrol.

  • 1. Check your offer email

    Once you've been accepted to study at VU, you'll get an email with next steps.

    TAFE applicants: Follow the steps in your email to complete any outstanding application tasks.

    University applicants: Click the button in the email to accept your offer, and start enrolling.

    2. Accept your offer

    The button in your acceptance email will take you to MyVU, our online student hub. 

    Login with the following details:

    Your username: Your Student ID s1234567 followed by '@live.vu.edu.au' as your username

    Your temporary password: ‘Temp’ (capital T) followed by your date of birth in this format: Tempddmmyyyy (eg 12 May 1983 is written as ‘Temp12051983’)

    3. Enrol into your units

    Finalise your acceptance by enrolling in your units (subjects).

    TAFE applicants: We’ll enrol you into your first units and email you more information for next steps.

    University applicants: Select MyVU > My Course in the menu to enrol in your units.

Find out more

The electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) is an online form used by domestic students to apply for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) and/or Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) loan.

You must submit an eCAF for a CSP course to show how you will pay your student contribution – whether you pay up-front or defer your tuition fees with a loan.
