Orientation
Welcome to Victoria University! We hope that studying with us is one of the most memorable times of your life.
Orientation is a great way to start university or TAFE. You'll get important course information and meet other students at social events.
Join the O-Fest social program in addition to your Orientation to make friends, join a club or society, find out about all the programs and support services available to you at VU, and participate in some fun activities.
Find your orientation
- Preparation, VCE & English: For ELICOS and Foundations students.
- Diploma & bachelor degree orientation: For undergraduate students studying a bachelor or diploma course.
- Postgraduate orientation: For student studying a masters, graduate diploma, graduate certificate.
International student orientation
All international students studying on an International Student Visa (subclass 500) are strongly encouraged to attend International Student Orientation.
You should also attend your course orientation. Information about your course orientation could be found above.
When: Thursday 20 February 2025, 2–4pm AEDT
Where: Room L114, Level 1, Building L, Footscray Park Campus.
Social events & preparation programs
Kick off university life with the Orientation Festival (O-Fest) activities and social program brought to you by Student Life. You can attend O-Fest activities at any campus, regardless of your main campus of study. There will be free food and entertainment throughout each day.
You can also come along to our preparation programs to help you get ready for university life.
