VU in Focus survey competition terms & conditions

1. The promoter is Victoria University (VU) (ABN: 83 776 954 731, CRICOS Provider No. 00124K) PO Box 14428, Melbourne, Victoria 8001.
2. All information on 'how to enter' forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering into these terms and conditions you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
3. The Promotion commences on 11^th June 2024 at 9:00am AEST and closes on 25^th June 2024 at 5:00pm AEST. (Promotion Period). Any entry that is not received during the Promotion Period will be invalid.
4. The draw will take place at 10:00am AEST on 26^th June at Victoria University, Footscray Park.
5. VU will randomly select one winner.
6. VU will contact the winners via email to confirm a winning entry within 24 hours of the draw. 
7. If contacted by VU, you have 14 days to respond to VU’s contact. Once that time period has elapsed, you forfeit your prize and VU will select another winner.
8. The winners names will be published in the next edition of the VU News.
9. The winner will be emailed their prize to their nominated email address and will not be able to collect the prize in person. 

Eligibility

10. Entry is open to Australian Residents. Entrants must be individuals and not companies or other entities. Employees and immediate family members of VU and associated agencies and/or companies any way involved in the Promotion, are not valid entrants in the Promotion.
11. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.

13. You may enter the Promotion once only.

Personal information

14. VU will collect your personal information, including your name, likeness, email address and social media account details which it will keep in accordance with the VU privacy policy, located at http://www.vu.edu.au/privacy.
15. By entering the promotion you agree to receive information and marketing communications from VU.
16. In the event that you are the winner of the Promotion, you consent to the disclosure, publication and dissemination of your name and likeness for the purposes of the Promotion, and VU’s advertising and marketing purposes (as winner of the Promotion).
17. VU accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. VU is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.

18. There is one prize to be won.

19. The prize value is correct as at the date of printing. 
20. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. 
21. In all matters relating to the Promotion, all decisions of VU and its staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
