The Information Technology (IT) Program at Victoria University sits within the College of Arts, Business, Law, Education and IT. Our high-quality programs acknowledge the increasingly important role IT plays in digital transformation, cyber security, data analytics, and the global revolution brought about by breakthroughs in general artificial intelligence.

Our research and course delivery focuses on high-demand areas – such as cyber security, software development, networking, AI, and data science. Courses offered by the IT Program are industry standard and lead to excellent career opportunities.

We are responsible for supporting and guiding students who are studying AI, cyber security, data science, IT, and information technology project management. Graduates within the College of Arts, Business, Law, Education and IT are equipped with the most advanced digital skills, ready to lead and innovate in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Partnerships & collaborations

Victoria University has strong partnerships across health, industry and business that provide opportunities for collaboration on 'smart' advances and cyber security. Our Cyber Security Training Centre is run in collaboration with Cisco.

We offer a diverse range of specialised equipment and devices to both undergraduate and postgraduate students for study and research purposes.
