VU Arts & Crafts Society

The Victoria University Arts and Crafts Society (ACVU) aims to provide a creative outlet for VU students and the general public while also creating a safe space for VU students to socialize and embrace their creativity through different artistic mediums.

Whether you are or aren't a creative arts student, or have never picked up a paintbrush before, we'd still be happy to have you join and enjoy the world of arts and crafts with us!

International Youth & Students for Social Equality VU

International Youth & Students for Social Equality (IYSSE) is a global community raising awareness about chronic social problems, including the dangers of war, which we believe can only be solved through an end to capitalism.

Join us if you believe that society must be reorganised along international socialist lines on the basis of social need, not private profit.

VU Music Society

The VU Music Society is a music club that is available to all VU students. Within the Music Society we highlight the importance of running our sessions and events in a space that is welcoming, positive, safe, encouraging and uplifting.

We welcome anyone to our club who has a love, passion, or interest for music. Whether you are a current artist, a part of a band, have performed multiple times or not at all, or even if you have never picked up an instrument before, we welcome all!

You will have the opportunity to meet other musicians, collaborate with them, create your own bands, have gig and performance opportunities, attend music-related workshops such as ‘Let’s Write a Song’, take part in our music events, make new friends, and have a great time!

One of our biggest goals for our club is to make a person feel welcome and to guide them in any way we can to where they want to be musically.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out, even if it’s just to say hello. We would love to hear from you!
