Victoria University Motorsport (VUM) is a student group led by mechanical engineering undergraduate students, and is open to all undergraduates studying at VU.
You can design, build and race a race car.

You may be eligible to join our VU Extra Transcript activities.
Completing these activities will be recorded on your academic transcript. This lets future employers know that you've been a part of a nationally-recognised extracurricular program.
Involvement in the VU Extra Transcript activities requires you to complete additional work and is not suited to everybody. If you are unable or prefer not to meet these requirements, standard club membership is still available.

Victoria University Nutrition and Dietetics Society (VUNDS) is a supportive space for nutrition and dietetics students and food enthusiasts!

Women in Tech VU (WITVU) club is open to female-identifying and non-binary tertiary students living in Victoria! You don't have to be specifically in an Information Technology course, any course is welcome as long as you enjoy tech! Remember that technology is increasingly integrated into various courses!
This club will give you the opportunity to gain new insights and knowledge, build meaningful friendships, grow your networks (for LinkedIn), gain leadership and other experiences (that you can use on CV's and Resume's), brainstorm ideas and many more! All while you are still studying.

Our college societies give you the chance to connect with students studying similar courses. All of our college societies are proudly supported and funded by the student union (VUSU).
We are seeking to form student societies to represent other colleges.
The VU Dictum Society aims to represent the diverse aspirations and attributes amongst our law students and improve their university experience. This is done through social events, mentor programs, competitions and publications. We also obtain and maintain relationships with external bodies in order for our members to be prepared for the legal industry.

Student groups, associations, and college societies that affiliate with VUSU will be eligible to use funding provided by VUSU from the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The president of the affiliated association will be a board member of VUSU with voting power, and other members will be considered subcommittee members.
Opportunities are open for students who are interested in forming one of the following three associations.

A minimum of 10 enrolled VU students need to express their interest to establish a group and hold their Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) to be eligible for affiliation.
Affiliation process
- Hold an Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) before Semester 2 Block 3 teaching period.
- Elect Executive members, set membership fees, and adopt the constitution.
- Submit IGM or Annual General Meeting (AGM) minutes and affiliation documents within 10 business days.
- VUSU Executive Officer and General Secretary will review the application.

The VU Music Society is a music club that is available to all VU students. Within the Music Society we highlight the importance of running our sessions and events in a space that is welcoming, positive, safe, encouraging and uplifting.
We welcome anyone to our club who has a love, passion, or interest for music. Whether you are a current artist, a part of a band, have performed multiple times or not at all, or even if you have never picked up an instrument before, we welcome all!

The VU Chinese Student & Scholars Society (VU-CSSS) is a service-oriented association that aims to link Chinese students and scholars in Victoria University.
