Research in the motor control & biofeedback lab

Magnetic stimulation lab

This lab for measurement of the importance of the brain and other nervous pathways in control of muscular contraction. Magnetic stimulation of the brain induces muscle contractions and movements detected by muscle force and electrical activity.

Evoked potential lab

This lab measures tiny electrical potentials emanating from nervous activity. The room features copper lined walls (Faraday Cage) to shield the sensitive measurements from interfering signals from lights and powerpoints.

Psycho-physiological biofeedback lab & control room

This facility is used for observing and measuring human responses to relaxation and interventions.
