Social value creation for transport & infrastructure

The Social Value Framework seeks to secure jobs in the West of Melbourne by ensuring a socioeconomic dividend from the unprecedented swell of transport and infrastructure projects by delivering greater industry awareness, knowledge, adoption and undertaking of critical social value levers – social procurement, environmentally sustainable infrastructure and health, safety & wellbeing – to meet corporate responsibility targets of industry and government.

This research will:

  • inform planning policies and guidelines to redefine the quality-of-service
  • contribute to higher levels of accessibility and safety for our commuters in our public transport systems, infrastructure, and urban environments
  • develop innovative teaching and learning components comprising new courses and units
  • provide leading organisational processes and cultural change management.
