We offer a wide range of group exercise classes to help you increase your fitness levels, tone and strengthen.

If you are a member, the classes are included in your membership.

Don't worry if you don't have a membership, come along and pay for casual entry.

Classes are scheduled and conducted subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • All classes scheduled are dependent upon adequate class numbers. If numbers are consistently low for a class then there is the potential for that class to be withdrawn from the timetable after the first 6 week trial period of the new timetable.
  • Class duration is between 45mins and 55mins depending upon the class – please do not be late for classes as a warm up reduces the likelihood of injury.
  • Inform the instructor if it is your first class or if you have any injuries.
  • Group Exercise receipts will be handed out 1 hour before commencement of class (one receipt per person only).
  • Participants must collect a Group Exercise receipt from reception and hand on to the instructor before commencement of class.
  • Participants must bring a towel and water bottle to every class.
  • Correct sporting attire must be worn to class. (Jeans/corporate attire are not acceptable).
  • The user must wipe down equipment after class. Disinfectant to be supplied by centre.

Class descriptions

Body pump

This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like Squats, Presses, Lift and Curls. You'll use a step, bar, a selection of weights to suit your fitness level. A great program to inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!


This class is a fun, interactive, cardiovascular workout that aims to decrease stress levels, increase your hand eye co-ordination, core strength and overall fitness in a fast, action-packed class environment.

Deep water aqua

Deep water aqua (DWA) is an aerobic style class held in deep water with the assistance of buoyancy belts (optional). It incorporates a variety of body movements including water running, treading water and the use of aids for muscle stimulating exercises.

Burn calories, build cardio vascular endurance, gain muscle strength and improve your range of motion. Great for those recovering from injury or simply those who want a total body workout. The class allows you to work the muscles without causing stress on your joints or tissues.

Ideal for athletes and sporting clubs, this 45 minute class will provide active recovery, performance enhancement and great cross training in an environment that precludes the risk of injury.

Dynamic core

Dynamic Core is a 30 min program designed to improve functional strength, mobility and enhance injury prevention. With dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back and obliques. This class will challenge you both mentally and physically.

It is a low impact class, suitable for all levels.


Pilates emphasises the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility & awareness in order to support efficient movement. This class is suitable for everyone.

Pop yoga

The ancient art of yoga with a modern twist. A pop yoga class incorporates classical yoga poses (asana) sequenced to a themed playlist of pop songs, with creative adaptions and transitions that match the music and the theme. A joyous yoga experience where you move to songs you might hear on the radio.


Spinning is an indoor group exercise class on stationary bikes. The bikes are arranged so that every participant can see the instructor. The class runs for approximately 45 minutes. The instructor leads the class through a range of different styles of bike riding, such as sprints, hills and adding or easing resistance.

Changing the resistance levels will simulate an actual bike riding terrain. As participants control their own resistance level this class is suitable for all fitness levels.

This class is ideal for weight loss, fitness, speed and endurance.

Total body workout

Total body workout is an aerobic-style class performed to music. Total body workout incorporates a combination of traditional aerobic moves, hand weights and other aids like balls and steps to create a dynamic class. This is a high energy class that is suitable for all abilities.

This class is ideal for improving fitness and muscle tone.


Yoga is a combination of free flowing yoga poses such as sun salutations, standing poses, balancing poses, inversions, twists and savasana relaxation. Suitable for all fitness levels. Ideal for strength, flexibility, muscle recovery or relaxation.


Zumba is a combination of dance steps and Latin rhythms to easy to follow routines. This invigorating dance class will get you movin' and groovin' to rhythms of salsa, cumbia, samba, merengue and more.

Work your body from head to toe with Zumba's exhilarating workouts. You'll learn all the basics, hitting your core, thighs and abdominals just to name a few. Come and join the fun.
