Lucky in law
VU is open, accepting, growing, embracing, and overall a really positive environment. The sense of community here is something that friends from other universities are truly envious of.
Meghann Clark
Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts
Meghann Clark’s law degree has taken her all over the world – and given her a great career head start at home through VU’s industry connections.
"Thanks to Victoria University (VU), I have travelled the world! VU has supported my academic pursuits in the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Hong Kong. Next, I will be expanding this list to include India, as part of an exciting initiative by 40K Globe that allows students to participate in bettering communities in villages through social entrepreneurship projects.
"Studying law at the City Queen campus, right in the middle of the legal precinct, gives me unique exposure to a constant stream of opportunities. I’m an editor for the Victoria University Law and Justice Journal and I volunteer for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. I also work as a Student Writing Mentor and am the Director of Competitions for our Dictum Society and have been a member of VU’s Academic Board. I regularly compete in mooting events. There is always something new and exciting to do with your time at VU!
"I have taken part in advocacy competitions worldwide and collaborated with international partner universities, and I could not have had these amazing experiences without the support and encouragement provided to me by VU staff. VU is open, accepting, growing, embracing, and overall a really positive environment. The sense of community here is something that friends from other universities are truly envious of."
