Goal: clinical psychologist

Western Chances scholarship and VU Achievement Scholarship help bring Natasha Jones’ long term goal closer.

"I completed a Bachelor of Psychological Studies at VU, and with the Victoria University Western Chances Scholarship and Achievement Scholarship I’ve been able to buy a new computer, equipment and text books which can be very expensive."

I have cerebral palsy and through VU's disability support I was able to make alternative arrangements like getting a laptop and extra time to do exams.

"During my placement at Footscray Hospital, I helped to counsel people in the oncology ward and long term my goal is to be a registered clinical psychologist. To achieve this I need to do my honours and masters which will take another three years.

"I’d definitely recommend Victoria University and my course. The lecturers and tutors are good and it’s a lot more student-oriented than other universities."
