The cyber security major builds on the first-year foundational units to prepare students as security professionals with in-depth knowledge and advanced IT skills in cyber security. The focus of this major is to scaffold knowledge around cyber security about, but not limited to, the introduction of Cyber Security Fundamentals, Cyber Security Architecture, Cyber Security Technologies (i.e., digital signature, firewalls, intrusion detection and data encryption), Cloud Security, Enterprise Security, Cybersecurity operations, Data privacy, Cyber Physical Systems Security, Cyber Security Regulation, Policies and Laws.
