This unit introduces students to a variety of strategies that may be used to broaden the funding base of organisations and partnerships between organisations. Students are given a sound knowledge and develop skills to apply processes and procedures in sourcing sponsorships and partnerships.
The unit concentrates on:
Sponsor objectives and benefits,
Identifying and approaching sponsors,
Developing and packaging sponsorship proposals and evaluating the sponsorship.
Students prepare and present a sponsor partnership proposal in collaboration with a selected club and obtain industry, peer and teacher feedback on the success of the proposal.
