This capstone unit is designed to provide students with a theoretical understanding to the theory, processes and procedures in designing, planning, staging and evaluating sport events. This unit also introduces students to a range of events and increases their knowledge and competency base in the field of event management. Student also are provided a foundation in the principles and practices of sales techniques and project management. The unit seeks to integrate all sport management principles and professional practices that have been covered in the sport management course.
