Overview

This unit, Evidence for Practice 8, provides students the opportunity to draw on their established literature searching skills to conduct a scoping/literature review related to their project topic. Students will complete an ethics application (where appropriate to their project), commence data collection and analysis and prepare a preliminary report. This unit is the second of the three units comprising of the project component of students masters by course work degree.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Conduct and write up a review/scoping of literature for major project
  2. Apply and appraise project plan by commencing data collection
  3. Analyse project data drawing on relevant statistical processes and/or theoretical frameworks
  4. Reflect on the process of undertaking a major project
