This unit examines both the historical significance of technology in the development of the visual effects field and the contemporary industry practices and standards. The aim of this unit is to equip students with the knowledge and technical skills to plan, design and implement effective visual effects for media production. Students will use various media including, video, text, animation, chroma keying and effects to create compositions that encompass visual effects.
