The place to be

Despite moving solo to a foreign country, international student Shaneal Williams has felt a wealth of support since she arrived at Victoria University in 2014.

“VU has put so many programs in place to help international students. I am yet to encounter one lecturer or tutor who doesn't have their students’ interest at heart; it's not just a job to them.

VU is the place to be because the staff care about your success and they will challenge you in social and professional ways you never knew possible.

I completed my Diploma of Business (Enterprise) – a pathway diploma that enabled me to transfer to the second year of the Bachelor of Business and expand my career options through the International Hospitality Management specialisation.

I really enjoyed the Operations Management component of the course. It covered the nitty gritty of business and really prepared me for the working world, with tools to succeed as a manager.
