About Ivan Krisjansen

Ivan is extensively published in prestigious international journals.

He is currently supervising HDR candidates in topic fields as broad as Gender and the Australian Military, English pedagogy, Psychology and Education, Feminism and Social Media and Postmodern Theory.

Ivan has worked in a number of Australian Universities as a lecturer and researcher:

  • Victoria University.

He has over ten years experience teaching in the tertiary sector. At Griffith University Ivan particpated as a Senior Research Fellow in completing a large and important research project funded by the Australian Federal Government. The project concerned new and emerging technologies and their future impact on the Australian economy.

I have supervised Higher Degree Research candidates at Monash University and Flinders University. My most recent PhD candidate has won the Nancy Millis Award at La Trobe University. The award is granted for exceptional merit. The thesis must be considered to be in the top five percent of theses examined.

Ivan has been a Unit coordinator at Victoria University in a number of teaching fields: Law and Governance, Gender Studies, Social Justice, Criminalogy  and English Pedagogy.
