About Bo Klepac Pogrmilovic
Bo is passionate about reducing health inequities and achieving better health outcomes for disadvantaged communities through policy change.
She holds a PhD in public health policy, a masters degree in political science and a masters degree in European studies. In 2020, she received a Victoria University Medal for Academic Excellence in Research.
Bo is co-author of the Comprehensive Analysis of Policy on Physical Activity framework. She is involved in several international and national research projects and is a researcher in the Global Observatory for Physical Activity (GoPA!) network.
At Victoria University, Bo has lectured in:
- Health policy and promotion
- Growth, development and ageing
- Sustainability in sport and recreation.
She was a media and policy consultant on various European Union-funded projects and programs.
In 2017, Bo received a Early Career Research Award at the HEPA Europe conference for her global systematic review on physical activity and sedentary behaviour policies. She has extensive experience in health promotion, policy analysis, and research to policy/practice translation.
