VU Research takes out a 2019 ATEM Research Management Best Practice Award

VU Research took out the Excellence in Research Management gong at the 2019 ATEM Best Practice awards earlier this year.

The win recognised the creation and implementation of VU Research as an innovative, one-of-a-kind solution to conducting and managing research and research training within a university.

VU Research has enabled the university to be much clearer about its priority areas for research and our research expectations of our academic staff. It helps support VU’s mission to undertake high-quality and innovative applied and translational research which results in healthier, smarter and sustainable communities.

VU Research was created and delivered as part of a whole-of-university transformation agenda and has been in operation since January 2018.
