About the Games

This year's SUG will be a fantastic sporting experience for the 2000 student athletes from Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. The friendly, but competitive environment, has universities not just battling for medals and pennants in each of the sport divisions, but for the three peak awards:

  • Overall Games Champion
  • Per Capita Games Champion
  • Spirit of the South Award.

SUG is one of four regional games, held simultaneously across Australia in the lead up to the 2016 Australian University Games (AUG).
