Victoria University opens new onsite Student Contact Centre
Enrolling at Victoria University (VU) has never been more streamlined, thanks to a new, locally-staffed Student Contact Centre located near the University’s flagship Footscray Park campus.
Previously outsourced in 2017, the new and improved facility will remain at Footscray Park until July, when the centre will be relocated to VU Whitten Oval.
The Student Contact Centre will provide prospective and current students with access to a team of trained staff members on-hand to facilitate enrolments and enquiries related to TAFE, undergraduate, postgraduate and international studies.
Launched Monday 13 May, the Student Contact Centre team of 52 will focus on creating an outstanding customer service experience, which includes immediate conditional offers to prospective students.
During peak periods, the centre receives around 7000 calls per week, along with 5000 chat messages and over 2000 emails.
