Volunteer for Werribee River planting & land care

Join us at this VU Thrive* community planting and land-care event run in partnership with Victoria University's community partner, the Werribee River Association, on 4 July 2024.

Enjoy a morning out beside the Werribee River. Together with our partners, VU staff and students will take part in planting and landcare to support increased biodiversity. This is a great way to give back to our local community through sustainability initiatives and enjoy some time out in nature.

Throughout the year, keep an eye out for other opportunities to get some dirt on your hands and help the environment – including VU's annual tree-planting event.

Getting there

If you're taking your own transport, you can meet at 10am at the Werribee River – we'll follow up with a meeting point.

Or take the VU shuttle bus:

•  9am pick up from Footscray Park Campus
•  9.30am pick up from Werribee Campus.
