After defeat in 2018, Sami Shah (comedian, writer and ABC radio broadcaster) is returning to take back his title of top debater from local secondary school students.

Bordering on being a comedic set, the show will see six secondary students from Footscray City College and Gilmore College for Girls argue against Sami series of short 8-minute debates.

As they tackle a range of topics brainstormed by the schools involved, who will come out on top?

The evening is MC'ed by Sami's radio co-host, Jacinta Parsons. It's a free event open to the whole community.

Meet & greet: Footscray Learning Precinct principal

From 5.30pm to 6pm

Join us early in the evening for an informal meet and greet with the newly appointed Executive Principal of the new secondary college of the Footscray Learning Precinct, Frank Vetere. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about the plans for this exciting project, and to meet some of the team behind it.

Our debates mark one of the final public events for Footscray City College and Gilmore College for Girls before they embark on a transformation as part of the Footscray Learning Precinct.

Hannah - "Life may be a simulation game"
I love Harry Potter, books, challenging myself and working hard. In my spare time I enjoy drawing, painting, baking and sewing. Dislikes: My brother, maths, annoying people.
