Thinking about starting a research degree? Come and find out about our masters by research and PhD (Integrated) programs at this information session on 17 July.

The Graduate Research School is holding an information session for students, VU staff and the wider community who are interested in finding out more about our research masters and PhD (Integrated) programs.

If you have ever thought of undertaking a research degree, come along to find out more about what is involved in these degrees. Information will include entry requirements, application processes and course structures.

About the research programs

We will provide information on the following programs:

  • 18-month Master of Research, for graduates with a related bachelor degree, or an honours degree in a different discipline
  • two-year Master of Applied Research, for graduates of a bachelor degree moving into a different discipline
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated), which offers a supported entry point to a PhD program with training in research methods before you begin your research.

About the information sessions

The information sessions will be held online, 11–11.45am Thursday 17 July. 

A Zoom link will be sent to participants the day before the session.
