Join our free Iftar event online. We will explore the themes of community resilience and multiculturalism, and learn about Ramadan.
As part of Ramadan, each year Victoria University hosts an Iftar with the Australian Intercultural Society. This year the Bulldogs Football Club is joining in. It is a free event that is open to all.
Ramadan provides a time of contemplation and coming together as a community in the spirit of generosity, peace and good will. These are universal values and particularly important during this current time.
This year, our Iftar will be shared widely as an online event.
This is a community event and members of the community have come together to provide a special message that will be screened on the evening.
We look forward to sharing this special event with you.
The keynote speech will be followed by a panel of speakers and provide an opportunity for a Q&A.
We have a special keynote from the Chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Vivienne Ngyuen.
