All Victoria University and Polytechnic staff including sessional, casual and contract are invited to the 2019 Learning and Teaching Symposium.
The theme for the symposium is The VU Way: Work ready | Tech ready | Life ready breaking the rules in tertiary education.
The symposium will be held on Thursday 26 September 2019 at the City Flinders campus from 9am - 4pm.
The program will feature a keynote opening address and themed concurrent presentations in a variety of formats including oral presentations, lightning pitches and visual presentations. Opportunities will be provided for informal networking with colleagues over morning tea and lunch breaks.
Call for abstracts is now closed
We invited abstract submissions from all Victoria University and Polytechnic staff, as individuals or teams. We aim to present a balanced program with representation from all Colleges and Departments.
- Three presenters (maximum) is preferred for showcase presentations.
- The involvement of students to support presentations was strongly encouraged.
- Submissions (300 words maximum) were submitted by Monday 15 July 2019.
- Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by staff from across the university, and notification of the outcomes of the review process is expected during August.
