This unit (UEPOPS202) involves the skills and knowledge required to apply a quality assurance system to work. Quality control is a process to ensure that significant variations in quality are kept to a minimum. Quality control in a power generation facility will focus on a set of procedures intended to ensure that personnel, plant and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently.Competency in this unit requires the ability to plan and prepare quality procedures, conduct quality system practices and initiate changes to quality systems. Individuals will, in general, work as an operator in a power generation facility.
