In addition you will theorise your own and others' learning experiences in the light of your study of contemporary learning theories. You are encouraged to connect your own experiences with recent developments in education, and within a global context, and ask questions such as: Who am I and how do I learn? What is it like to be a learner? What is happening in the world and how does this influence learning? You will engage in academic writing for university settings, learn about referencing conventions and will familiarise yourselves with library resources.
