Overview

In this unit, you will develop practical strategies that lead and support structured ICT change by minimising risk and maintaining operational stability. You will also analyse change management frameworks, create implementation plans, and apply automation tools to improve compliance and reduce disruption. This unit combines planning, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to prepare you for managing change in complex ICT environments. By the end of the unit, you will be able to design, document, and manage ICT change processes that align with operational goals and support business continuity.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Analyse key principles, frameworks, and best practices in ICT change management;
  2. Develop structured ICT change management plans, incorporating stakeholder engagement and risk assessment;
  3. Collaborate on developing risk mitigation strategies to tackle challenges in ICT change implementation;
