Overview

In NBC4005 Built Environment Project 1, Construction Management students will undertake an in-depth investigation of the topic of current importance to the building industry. This unit is the culminating experience of the student’s course and provides Construction Management students with the opportunity to apply and integrate their knowledge and skills gained from earlier years. In this unit, students will undertake a literature review and develop a research proposal for a substantial Built Environment related project that focuses on the construction industry. The project will then be executed in NBC4006 Built Environment Project 2. Whenever possible, projects will be sourced from industry partners. A number of research projects can be closely related to addressing large challenges in the construction industry, but each student will undertake their own research project.
