Overview

You will apply knowledge and skills gained in previous units and existing business knowledge to a business analytics project. The unit requires you to engage in individual and group work to develop solutions for major problems by applying business analytic methodologies, tools and techniques.



In the unit, you will:

  • work in teams under the supervision of academic staff.
  • present analysis and findings
  • provide solutions to complex problems
  • apply project management principles in tracking the project

After completing the unit, you will develop skills to handle complex projects, experience in professionally presenting the work, and deliver business outcomes.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Integrate and apply business analytics knowledge and recommend solutions to business problems;
  2. Reflect on academic learning and challenges in implementing data analytics projects;
  3. Recommend a project management approach for implementation in business analytics scenarios; and,
  4. Collaborate to compose the project plan and monitor the project’s progress at different stages.
