Overview

This unit and APT7002 Professional Counselling Project A are the capstone units for the program. In APT7003 Professional Counselling Project B students will further develop and execute the project proposal that they have designed in APT7002. Following the implementation of the project, students will identify and discuss the project outcomes in relation to their placement context, and prepare a professional report suitable for relevant stakeholders.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Implement appropriate methods to conduct a project;
  2. Analyse and critique key project outcomes;
  3. Disseminate and communicate project results, outcomes and implications in written and oral formats to stakeholders and other audiences; and
  4. Critically reflect on learning acquired in academic course work and on placement and the implications for professional practice.
