The aim of this unit is to enhance students' understanding of human psychological development across the lifespan and within a cultural context. This includes a study of perspectives and research relating to physical, cognitive, social and emotional development from conception to late adulthood. Cultural influences will be applied to the study of all aspects of development, and at all life stages.
