Virtues of a virtual classroom

When Pruthvi Nalluri leaves home, he’s in the bustling streets of Bengaluru, India. But when he’s studying, he’s a world away at a world-class Australian university.

Pruthvi has just started studying the Master of Business (Enterprise Resource Planning Systems) at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, using digitally-supported remote learning.

“My experience with the University has been very positive so far,” Pruthvi says.

“I was sceptical in taking up the course via online delivery, but since I had already deferred my offer once, I took a shot.

“The course delivery is very intuitive even though it's a virtual experience, and all the teachers are very helpful – they take all the steps necessary to ensure we understand things.”

When the Australian borders reopen, Pruthvi says he is looking forward to finishing his degree in Melbourne, and meeting his classmates and tutors in person.

“Although my studies are going well, I'm really excited to experience VU in a face-to-face classroom environment and finish my course in Australia, as an international student.”
