Building links

Master of Finance and MBA graduate, Jirayu Mecksakul, is building professional links for his future.

"I was overwhelmed to have my academic and co-curricular efforts recognised by VU through its Outstanding Student Alumni and Student Leadership Awards.

The VU-NAB Career Mentoring Program allowed me to build my professional network and learn from my NAB mentor, whom I remain in contact with. I was also fortunate enough to win the VU-NAB Professional LinkedIn Profile award.

As the President of VU’s Accounting, Finance and Investment Student Society (AFISS), I improved my leadership and negotiation skills. I was also able to cultivate strong links between AFISS and leading firms such as Deloitte, ANZ and CPA.

The willingness of VU staff to support students in reaching their goals is amazing! I established a rapport with many of my lecturers, College Deans and even the Vice-Chancellor.

I am proud to be a part of the VU Alumni community!"
