Chris Adam's Master degrees gave him the skills to help run a global business.
"I determined early in my career that I wanted to manage projects rather than designing buildings.
I enrolled in the Master of Project Management at VU because I liked the program's structure.
The high calibre of lecturers was a reflection of the program where we met a different industry professional and learned from real-life examples.
After completing my masters in Project Management, I completed additional study to gain the MBA qualification. At this point I decided I wanted to manage a business rather than projects.
The MBA has assisted me to take on an executive role as General Manager of the Victorian Project Management division at Savills Australia, a leading global real estate consultancy.
I'm a sessional lecturer at VU and recently I was awarded the position of Adjunct Associate Professor. This has allowed me to give back to the course I got a lot out of."
