Study our specialised study abroad certificate program in community development in Melbourne at Victoria University.

Make a real difference in the world as a community development practitioner. Create programs and initiatives to build strong, participatory and sustainable communities, both in global and local contexts.

While studying with us you will reflect on the social, economic and political challenges facing communities today. Alongside this you will develop the tools community development workers require, such as NGO management and project design.

You might also choose to complete a placement at one of the many community based organisations in Melbourne. Placements give you the opportunity to link your study to the workplace and to broaden your perspective on the types of approaches that can be used to facilitate community development work.
