TAFE certificates & diplomas 4 courses

Duration: 0.5 years

The Certificate III in Fitness gives you the skills and knowledge to work confidently as a gym instructor or group exercise instructor.

The Certificate IV in Fitness gives you the skills to kick start your career the health sector, one of the fastest growing industries globally.

Duration: 2 years

Prepare for a career in the sport and recreation sector and develop essential sporting skills and industry knowledge.

Duration: 1 year
Develop your skills in the sport and recreation industry gaining knowledge in project management, and facilitating and coordinating teams and groups.

Bachelor degrees (undergraduate) 3 courses

Work with football clubs to improve player performance, with a Graduate Certificate in Performance Analysis (Football).

Our Office for Research provides support to our current and future researchers, such as:

  • identify a research topic
  • find a supervisor
  • apply for research supervision or grants.
Duration: 2 years

Gain a solid foundation in research methods before undertaking a thesis related to health or sport with the Master of Applied Research.

VU’s Master of Arts develops specialist knowledge through creative-industry collaborations and expert guidance.
Duration: 1.5 years

Complete a Master of Research in 18 months, in the areas of industry, community or urban development. This degree is tailored to graduates with a related bachelor degree, or an honours degree in a different discipline.

I chose VU because of its links to professional sporting organisations, outstanding research facilities and well-respected staff. I was recently appointed Physical Performance Manager at the Western Bulldogs in the AFL.
