Short courses 1 course

Duration: 1000 hours
EAP is a university and TAFE preparation course. It is designed for students with upper intermediate to advanced levels of English who want to gain admission to an Australian TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate course.

TAFE certificates & diplomas 3 courses

Duration: 0.5 years

Begin your career as a media designer or creative artist and gain fundamental skills that can be applied to a number of design disciplines.

Duration: 1 year
Build on your existing skills and creative abilities by gaining a deeper understanding of your artistic work.
Duration: 1 year
Become a visual artist by studying a wide range of contemporary, digital and classical techniques in painting and drawing.

Bachelor degrees (undergraduate) 3 courses

Duration: 3 years
Choose your specialisation in arts from a range of subject areas and open up a world of career options. This course gives you the flexibility to choose from a broad range of Majors.

After a common first year, you'll focus on accounting, banking & finance, event management, financial risk management, human resources, information systems, international hospitality, tourism or trade, management & innovation, marketing, music industry, or supply chain & logistics management.

The Doctoral degree in Creative Arts (PhD) is an advanced research program offered across VU’s research focus areas and the major disciplines of our academic Colleges.
Duration: 4 years

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (Integrated) in Creative Arts provides an alternative pathway to a PhD for applicants who have not had previous research training and/or experience.

Completing my PhD has been the most profound experience of my life. I was so beautifully supported and nurtured by my supervisors. I emerged from the experience so much more confident in myself and in my ability to pursue opportunities relating to my passion: writing.
