"My study at VU has opened my eyes and my mind to the world. The university is such a mix of cultures, stories and experiences set in an all-embracing environment. My Bachelor of Arts (Community Development – International Stream) enabled me to combine my love of travel with study. As well as studying abroad in Fiji for two semesters, I attended a month long program in India where I worked in a remote village, helping local women set up sustainable and empowering businesses.
