The Governance Research Program (GRP) is made up of academic staff members and research students in the College of Law & Justice.

We aim to improve governance of the private and public sectors through the use of independent academic research, consultancies and postgraduate teaching.

Our focus

The GRP focuses on:

  • publishing original research and commissioned reports
  • teaching and supervising postgraduate students
  • commissioning studies into corporate governance compliance
  • convening seminars and conferences
  • conducting training in corporate governance.

These conferences offered lawyers, accountants, policy analysts, academics and those managing governance a unique opportunity to discuss issues related to corporate governance, ethics and law.

Journal of Law & Governance

The Governance Research Program manages the Journal of Law and Governance – an online peer-reviewed journal which publishes research articles in the following fields:

  • business systems
  • corporate governance
  • ethical issues arising from these areas.

Governance & Law Research Series

The Governance Research Program publishes the Governance and Law Research Series. Edited by Professor Anona Armstrong AM and Dr HS Grow the series is comprised of monographs that focus on governance issues, the law and allied contemporary topics.
