About Efrat Eilam

Dr Efrat Eilam is a senior lecturer at the College of Arts & Education. Her research focuses on science and sustainability education.

In science education her research focuses on informal science education settings, with particular interest in science outreach programs, such as university-led STEM programs, delivered to school students. Other areas of research in the field include examination of science classes’ emotional climate and its impacts on learning.

In environmental education, Efrat's current interests are in climate change curriculum development, and implementation; and school-community partnerships.

Efrat participates in developing and teaching units in science and sustainability education for preservice teachers, at the Bachelor and Master courses at VU.
