About Asmaa Al-Taie

Dr Asmaa is a Research Fellow in the Department of Inst Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities at Victoria University. Asmaa had more than 15 years academic experience and approximately 5 years industry experience. She received her PhD in Geotechnical Engineering in 2018 from Swinburne University of Technology (Australia).

Asmaa received her Master in Geotechnical Engineering 2001 from the University of Baghdad (Iraq).

Research interest is constitutive behavior of saturated and unsaturated soils, Soil Water Characteristic Curve, Swell-Shrink Cycles, soil internal erosion, sustainability of recycled materials and advanced laboratory testing and soil instrumentation.
