The Academic Support & Development team are running workshops for graduate researchers to improve scientific writing skills.

The program is designed for students undertaking research in scientific disciplines and writing a thesis and/or publishing research articles as part of their postgraduate degree.

Workshop details

The program investigates the rhetorical, structural, and stylistic conventions used in the five major sections of research articles and theses:

  • Introduction (1 October)
  • Literature Review (15 October)
  • Methods (29 October)
  • Results (12 November)
  • Discussion & Conclusion (26 November).

The workshops will be facilitated by Dr Dana Chahal from the Academic Support & Development team.

Registration is essential. Please register your interest by COB 29 September 2014.
